We can accept proxy bids for those who cannot be present for a live auction.  Please feel free to contact our auctioneers if you have any further questions.

1) Lamport & Dowler Auction Service is responsible for bidding up to the maximum written bid.

2) The understanding of the quality of the item is the purchaser's responsibility.

3) Lamport & Dowler Auction Service will conduct bidding in a proper, professional manner.  The purchaser will pay the amount of the last bid placed on their behalf at the price where the true bidding ends.  

4) The purchaser is responsible for the full cost of the items plus the taxes where applicable, in Canadian funds.  US exchange is calculated to the exchange rate on the day of sale.

5)An absentee bid fee of $10.00 per item will be charged on items costing up to $100.00.  A bid fee of $20.00 per item costing $101.00-$1,000.00 will be added to the total of the billing and $30.00 on items $1,001.00 & up.

6) Only successful buyers will be charged a fee.

7) Only the successful buyers will be notified that day, or by the end of the next day.

8) The buyer is to make immediate payment in the event of being a successful bidder.

9)If the purchaser is not able to have the item picked up, then arrangements will be made to ship the item at the customers cost. 

10) Once purchased, the items are the property of the purchaser's.
